I have used the Eco-Me Home Kit before. What I love the most about it, is that my 4 year old can help me clean with it. I never have to worry about her being around harmful chemicals, as she shadows me doing my housework. And this comes with enough oils to make 2 of each product. What else on the market gives you that opportunity? Eco-Me, great products!

My favorite green household tip - use rags and cloth napkins. In our house someone is always making a mess and we used to go through so many rolls of paper towels. Now I may use a roll every 2 months, sometimes 3 months.

I use vinegar a lot! So most of those cleaning tips were new to me, it is the best thing I have ever used to clean the microwave! I add some to water in a microwave safe bowl, and run the microwave just until it starts to boil. Then let sit for about 10 minutes and the gunk on the inside of the microwave wipes right out!

Of course you could get your children to wipe up the mess they make in there as soon as they make it! Like that will ever happen :P

I love all of the tips that were given for using baking soda and vinegar when cleaning. Why? Because soooooo many books tell you to use baking soda and/or vinegar, but then they often aren't specific on which one can do what and what they can be used for. The specific tip I liked best was to use a higher grade of vinegar (better name brand) because some of the cheaper brands contain petroleum. I had no idea, and I would have bought the cheapest one automatically if I hadn't have read this first.

My favorite non-toxic cleaner right now is Dr. Bronner's Sal Suds. It has a great pine scent, and a little goes a long way. I use a tiny squirt to clean toilets; I dilute some with water in a spray bottle for general house cleaning. One bottle lasts me nearly a year and only costs about $10.

There are so many great eco-friendly, money saving tips! My favorite is “Give old sponges a second chance; soak overnight in baking soda and water.” I usually throw my dish sponges away once a week because I feel there will be mold or bacteria growing inside of them. Now that I know every night I can soak them in this "potion" it will save me so much $$$ just on sponges, and insure that my family is still going to be safe from mold and bacteria! I would love an opportunity to try the Eco-friendly kit! I have a family of 5 so I can use all the eco help I can get! Thank you for another great giveaway!
