I like to mix equal parts of honey, lemon juice, and glycerin and then take 1 teaspoon frequently to relieve the pain of a sore throat.

My favorite tip is:
"Make sure to use good quality white vinegar, some "low cost brands are made with petroleum which is a hazardous chemical. Heinz is a good brand making their white vinegar from grain and water.

I always use Heinz but had no idea that there was a difference between Heinz and lesser quality vinegars.

*Sprinkle a little bit of baking soda on your carpets, let sit for 10 minutes before vacuuming. Baking Soda will deodorize and absorb odors.

Tea tree oil works wonders for getting rid of germs, and it is non-toxic. My family also has switched from paper napkins and paper towels to cloth ones.

You can use vinegar and baking soda to replace so many cleaning supplies in your home. I put vinegar in the toliet and leave it a few hours and it cleans so nicely. Baking soda is good for a lot of the tougher cleaning.

There are so many great eco-friendly, money saving tips! My favorite is “Give old sponges a second chance; soak overnight in baking soda and water.” I usually throw my dish sponges away once a week because I feel there will be mold or bacteria growing inside of them. Now that I know every night I can soak them in this "potion" it will save me so much $$$ just on sponges, and insure that my family is still going to be safe from mold and bacteria! I would love an opportunity to try the Eco-friendly kit! I have a family of 5 so I can use all the eco help I can get! Thank you for another great giveaway!

I just looked at the labels on the two gallons I have stashed away and there is nothing on them to tell me if they are petroleum based or not.
