Why do I need this? I have three grown sons, all living at home. I have a husband who works 60+ hours a week. I have an 8 month old grandson and a daughter in law all living with me. Wow, I could use some "pampering!" Living in a house with 3 boys, no one else understands what that means, and how much I need it! I get up at 3:45 AM (yes, that's AM!) to drive 62 miles to work. And of course I get to do the same thing in the afternoon. But my day has just started by then, 'cause it's time for homework, driving to baseball practice, making dinner, laundry, and whatever else might come up!

Why? Because I am a care-giver to two elderly parents with chronic health problems. I cook. I clean. I take care of the therapy pets -- two small dogs and a cat. I do all the grocery shopping, as well as take care of the household needs. I take the trash and recycling down to the street and bring the empty containers back up again. I do the laundry and the ironing. I dispense prescription medication and monitor health, report to doctors as necessary, take to doctor appointments as necessary, take them for medical tests and wait while they are undergoing treatments. I never married, have no children, and my last date was in the 20th century. I don't generally take special care of myself, usually because I am too tired and really don't even think about it, and I used to be one of the most perfectly groomed women on earth. I hope that winning this wonderful set will motivate me to take care of myself so that can establish a routine and get back in the habit.

I'm a college student and with that title comes poverty, naturally.
I try my hardest to use green products but it doesn't always fit my budget. These products would be loved and used especially during finals time. I hope to finish my degree and start an advertising firm that caters to eco-friendly companies just getting on their feet!

I have fibromyalgia, which has made it difficult for me to perform my work as a jewelry artist. My ex-husband has found a way to "temporarily" suspend my alimony until I can prove that I am "really" sick. So the stress of the resulting impending foreclosure, along with breaking the new to my 10 and 13 yr old girls is going to make me feel well???!! yikes....!

Well, in the last year, my husband has worked at more than 6 jobs (he's our sole source of income and all the companies that hire him seem to go under), his car's engine and transmission decided to go, my car's electrical system decided to go, my kids had 3 trips to the emergency room after we lost our health insurance, and our house caught on fire and burned up the family room, forcing us to move. Oh, and after all our job changes, our current income is below the poverty level.

Well My mother has always worked hard to do things for me even I didn't ask for. She never pampers herself whatsoever and it's utterly amazing how the woman can still smile. Especially after having me LOL. I think it's time she started to. I stress the birthing portion the most. I know I wasn't a handful. I was nightmare sometimes. lol. she loves me.
